Reuniting Yourself - Life Coaching Website

Reuniting Yourself is a responsive, bilingual (English/German) website created for a personal life coaching business. This was my first project after a long period without coding, marking my return to web development. The goal of the project was to build a calm, warm, and easy-to-navigate online presence where users can learn about the services, understand the coaching approach, and request a session.

Purpose of the Website

The website serves as a central place where the client presents her coaching philosophy, explains how the sessions work, and provides a clear structure for potential clients to get in touch. Since the business helps people reconnect with themselves emotionally and mentally, the site had to feel soft, welcoming, and minimalistic - without overwhelming the visitor. Additionally, a blog section is planned for the future, which will provide articles and resources to support visitors and expand the website’s content.

Built According to Client’s Vision

Every part of the design was created together with the client. She had a specific visual direction: neutral tones, spacious layouts, smooth typography, and a very calm user experience. Instead of using a ready-made template, the entire UI was custom-built from scratch to match her personal style and the emotional tone she wanted to communicate.

The result is a clean, distraction-free interface where visitors can comfortably read, explore, and reach out for coaching sessions. Both the English and German versions of the site are separated with different URLs to improve SEO and ensure better indexing for both languages.

Technical Foundation

The website is developed using Node.js and Express.js with EJS templating. This setup made it easy to create two languages (EN/DE) without duplicating layouts, all shared templates are dynamically rendered, while text is loaded per-language.

Responsive User Experience

The website is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices, tablets, and large desktop screens. Since many users visit from mobile, the interface was carefully designed so that text remains easy to read, with comfortable spacing and clear navigation.

The final product gives the client a professional online identity where she can:

It’s a minimalistic, personal, and purpose driven website tailored exactly to her vision, both aesthetically and functionally.
